"Oreo" was the name given to the car by us, based on the iconic black & white body colours. Oreo is a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor which is powered by a 4.6 litre V8 modular engine, one of the best ever produced by Ford. The car served as a backup patrol vehicle in a small town called Warminster in Pennsylvania, in the heart of Bucks County, located 13 miles away from Philadelphia. The car began service in January 2009 and retired from service in March 2019. After retirement, the vehicle was exported to the United Kingdom where we took first legal UK ownership. Restoration work began on restoring the car to its former glory, which is still an ongoing project. Throughout our restoration work, mechanical jobs have been carried out and now we are turning to cosmetics, starting with a full body respray. As time goes by, these cars become harder to find, therefore making Oreo more of a unique car every year. It is estimated that there are around 100 former Police Ford Crown Vics in the UK, making this car a very rare sight in public.
Oreo rolls off of Ford's production line at Saint Thomas, Ontario in Canada. Oreo was part of the batch of cars destined for the 2009 model year and was among the first Crown Victorias to feature the FlexFuel engines, adjustable pedals and side airbags as standard.
Following registration in January 2009, Oreo enters service with the Warminster Township Police Department in Pennsylvania. Warminster is a small town with a population of 30k people residing 13 miles away from the big city of Philadelphia. Oreo is assigned with unit number 74-25 which is designated to backup cars for use when the main patrol cars are off the roads for servicing or repairs.
Warminster Park celebrates its 10th anniversary after opening. This event featured local residents and service workers participating. Warminster Police attended for the day, and showed off some of their fleet vehicles. Oreo was featured at this event.
Near the centre of Warminster, a panic alarm was triggered, resulting in a large police response from multiple agencies. Oreo was among the Warminster PD cars to arrive on the scene that day.
Late at night a call was made regarding a male breaking the peace in a local neighbourhood. Oreo and another squad car was dispatched to the scene.

After 10 years, 120k miles driven and 7k hours idled on the road side, Oreo finally retires from service with the Warminster Township Police Department. Our American agent buys the car at auction on our behalf. The Police Department removed some equipment and graphics from the vehicle prior to handing the car over.
At the start of 2020 the world saw one of the biggest pandemics ever. Lockdowns were put into effect across most countries, which delayed our goal of getting the car road legal. The car wasn't received from the port until September 2020.
A highlight in recent years for us! We took Oreo to Millbrook Testing Grounds for a big incognito client, who we later believed to be Rockstar Games development studio in Scotland. Famous film stunt driver was there to drive our car for the purpose of recording these sounds.
After much time and effort, Oreo becomes road legal on UK roads. After MOT and IVA tests, we could finally move forwards with registering and taxing the car. The British public love seeing this iconic car out in the open.
